I am an assistant professor of computer science at the department of Software and Computer System (SCS) of KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Sweden. Prior to that, I was a machine learning scientist at University of Oxford (2017-2018), and a senior researcher at the Swedish Institute of Computer Science (2013-2017). I got my PhD from KTH in June 2013. I also received my BSc. and MSc. in Computer Engineering from Amirkabir University of Technology (AUT) in 2000 and 2003, respectively. My research interests include distributed systems/algorithms, data intensive computing platforms, and large scale data mining.

Diego Mollá-Aliod

Diego Mollá-Aliod is a senior lecturer at Macquarie University, Sydney, Australia. After receiving his MSc and PhD at The University of Edinburgh in 1997, Dr. Mollá-Aliod worked as a full-time postdoctoral researcher at The University of Zurich until 2000. He joined Macquarie University as a full-time lecturer in 2000, and was promoted to senior lecturer in 2004. At Macquarie University he was a founding member of the Centre for Language Technology (CLT), which is the longest-established Australian research group in language technology. He has also co-founded the Australasian Language Technology Association (ALTA), where he has served as a secretary, treasurer, and president, and has been a member of the Executive committee since the creation of ALTA in 2003. He is also a founding member of OzCLO, the Australian Computational and Linguistic Olympiad for high-school students since 2008, and the main organiser of the ALTA shared tasks since 2010.

Dr. Mollá-Aliod's research focuses on text processing, with special emphasis on information extraction, question answering and text summarisation. Google Scholar attributes him over 1300 citations. Apart from ALTA, he is a member of the Association for Computational Linguistics (ACL) and the Spanish Society for Natural Language Processing (SEPLN). He also servers as a reviewer in international journals and conferences.
